Daimler Truck AG, IVECO, OMV, Shell and the Volvo Group are participating in the collaboration agreement “H2 Accelerate” with the aim of creating the conditions for a mass-market rollout of hydrogen-powered trucks in Europe. Such hydrogen-fueled trucks would have to match diesel-powered trucks with regard to owning and operating costs, refueling time, range, and cost range. If this were to occur, in addition to gaining a mass-market, they would be the key for enabling CO2-neutral transportation in the future.
