Energy ministers from the G20 affirmed their commitment to renewable energy at the first G20 Energy Ministers Meeting this October in Istanbul. This is the first time that renewable energy is on the G20 agenda.
Note that the G20 members are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, UK, USA, and the European Union.
